It's Coming...

Bush Breaks His Silence

President George W. Bush's memoir, Decision Points, has finally been set a release date. Crown Publishers announced today that the former president's book will be released exactly one week after the November Midterm Elections. Sources close to 'Dubya' claim that almost every day since leaving office, George W. Bush has been reflecting on his life, his presidency, and his legacy and has compounded a work highlighting fourteen of the most important decisions he has throughout his life.

Reportedly, Decision Points will take the reader into the depths of the White House: covering the War in Iraq, Hurricane Katrina, as well as September 11th. Readers will also await the 2000 election results with then Governor Bush within the Texas Gubernatorial Mansion. Yet the book is not entirely political, covering Bush's bout with alcoholism and how he decided to turn his life around.

Lastly, whether you are a fan of 'Dubya' or not I have to give the former president credit for the respect and silence he has shown the Obama administration. Releasing the book after the Midterm Elections was a class act move to avoid making his book a talking point for either side. Thank you Mr. President for not following in the footsteps of some of your less gracious predecessors and not harassing your successor.. cough cough (Jimmy Carter) cough cough...

Look for this book to be on the shelves of bookstores everywhere November 16th, 2010. Hopefully, there will be an In Review posted shortly afterwards to give you the "yea or nay" on this highly anticipated book.

Later,
Cody
